ACF Ambujanagar was awarded the 2nd National Water Awards 2019 by the Jal Shakti Ministry in the category of Best Industries for CSR activities. The award was presented by the cabinet ministry through a virtual ceremony on 11th November 2020.
Organized by the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, and the Ministry of Jal Shakti, these awards appreciate individuals/organizations doing commendable work in the field of water resource conservation and management. It strives to create awareness on the importance of water and motivates them to adopt best water usage practices.
Ambujanagar has been ACF's flagship location situated in the coastal region of Saurashtra. Water has been the main focus due to the challenges faced in salinity ingress, groundwater exploitation and contamination. ACF engaged the community and initiated a large-scale water harvesting program involving governments, corporates, and civil society organisations to revolutionize the water scenario in the area.

The National water awards was launched to appreciate good work and efforts made by individuals and organizations across the country and the government's vision for the path to 'JalSamridh Bharat'.
ACF's water resource management program has been one of the largest program of the organization working to create awareness, educating communities, farmers and organizations on water harvesting methods, ensuring clean drinking water and water use efficiency.
