ACF has catalysed the establishment of 17 Farmer Producer Organisations across locations where over 7800 farmers are collectively working together to enhance their knowledge, reduce input costs by starting Farmer Malls, facilitating joint procurement, value adding produce, initiating Machinery Banks and collectively marketing their produce.

Over 5500 Farmers in Sankrail are today capitalising on market fluctuations by harnessing rainshelters and scaffolding promoted by ACF to grow vegetables in the off-season – increasing crop income by 128% scaffolding and 45% rainshelters as a result. ACF has also played a key role in monitoring market prices and suppy of vegetables each season, to help guide farmers on which crops to grow.

Livestock rearing plays a major role in the rural economy, with goats providing a valuable source of livelihood and pathway out of poverty – particularly for women. But many goat keepers experience high herd mortality and poor returns. To tackle this, ACF formed Goat Based Livelihood Groups (GBLG), and developed a cadre of ‘Pashu Sakhis’ (animal care volunteers) who are providing veterinary services, improving breeds, promoting proper feed and fodder management and ensuring goatshed management and hygiene.
