We educate the community and build their capacity to bring about lifestyle changes, develop a proactive approach to health, and to present for early diagnosis and treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
We provide health awareness at a community level via Sakhis who promote a healthy lifestyle and focus on reducing major risk factors like tobacco use, physical inactivity, unhealthy diet (high fat, salt, sugar) and the use of alcohol. They create awareness on the prevention of TB with counselling, and provide measures for tackling vector borne disease.
Focus on high risk population with monthly counselling and awareness on risk factors, lifestyle modifications, nutrition awareness and also encourage for screening, early diagnosis and treatment to ensure continuum of care.
High-risk patients are linked with health facilities for screening and treatment for both CD and NCD. Screening and early detection is carried out in association with government health units for timely, affordable and accurate diagnosis.
We help facilitate access to treatment by working closely with Government and other service providers.
We create awareness on the ill effects of tobacco products, in schools and communities - making the villages and school as tobacco free as per the COTPA guidelines.
